The CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat is the base of the Multi-Layer-Process™ developed and patented by CARDIP for peelable paint films and the core of the CARDIP peelable paint film system.

The innovative Easy-Peel-Polymer™ forms a colorless and permanently elastic film coating through the spray process, which can be easily peeled off without leaving any residue when needed. The product is compatible with all common waterborne automotive paints, allowing it to be tinted to any desired shade and effect as needed.

The special feature of this state of the art peelable paint is its focus on efficiency and performance. Special wetting agents ensure easy wetting of all substrates (paint, plastic, metal, chrome, etc.), allowing the BaseCoat to be applied to almost any substrate. The low-VOC high-solid formulation ensures extremely high film thicknesses with few layers and very easy removability even after years. The leveling agents integrated in the product ensure low surface texture, as known from modern OEM coatings.

In addition, the CARDIP® Aqua+ BaseCoat offers the user easy application due to incorporated marking agents that evaporate during the drying process. This ensures that all areas of the substrate are coated evenly and that the coating thicknesses are achieved in all areas. CARDIP® Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080 is developed and produced in Germany.

CARDIP 2K UltraGloss HS ClearCoat is a permanently elastic and high-gloss 2K high-solid clearcoat for the CARDIP® peelable paint film system. It is processed like a conventional clearcoat and can be sanded and polished when cured. The CARDIP® spray film clearcoat achieves a very high gloss level and runs like a conventional, modern clearcoat.

The special feature of this special clearcoat is a true-to-paint feel and clear reflections with very easy processing and enormous standing strength. The peelable paint film coatings sealed with the 2K UltraGloss spray film clearcoat can be permanently cleaned in the automatic car wash and also reconditioned by detailing. The clearcoat is 3:1 crosslinked with hardener 8070.

CARDIP SatinMatte 2K HS ClearCoat is a permanently elastic, satin-matte 2-component HS clearcoat for the CARDIP® peelable paint film system. It is processed like a conventional matte clearcoat and is hard and scratch-resistant when cured. The product achieves a smooth and uniform matt finish as known from OEM/factory paints, while at the same time providing the highest color and effect depth.

The special feature of this special clearcoat is its flow quality and high mechanical resistance. The film coatings sealed with the 2K spray film clearcoat can be permanently cleaned in the automatic car wash despite the matt finish. The clearcoat is 3:1 crosslinked with hardener 8070.

CARDIP® 2K HS Hardener 8070 is a highly functional, universal HDI crosslinker for the CARDIP® 2K HS clearcoats UltraGloss 8080, as well as SatinMatte 8090 of the CARDIP® spray film system. The specially developed hardener for spray film clear coats helps the clear coats to achieve high weather stability, especially in terms of UV exposure and chemical resistance to organic and inorganic contamination.

The special feature of this hardener is that it builds up a crosslinking structure with high elasticity, thus making the clearcoat a functional part of the spray film coating. At the same time, the hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI for short) causes a high surface hardness, which means that the spray film coating can not only be sanded and polished, but can also be maintained very easily over the long term without becoming susceptible to micro-scratches.

CARDIP® Aqua+ Reducer 500 is the thinner for Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080. It must be added to Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080 to achieve a sprayable viscosity. The product is also used as a universal reducer additive for waterborne coatings when a waterborne coating is added to Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080. Aqua+ Reducer 500 is added to BaseCoat 5080 at 10-20 wt.%.

Aqua+ ETA-Cleaner 101 is a special pre-cleaner and degreaser with antistatic effect for the CARDIP peelable paint system. The product is recommended for cleaning and degreasing of all surfaces immediately before coating with CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080 to avoid possible incompatibility with general cleaners such as water cleaners or oil-based silicone removers. It reliably removes dirt and grease from the surface and also has an antistatic effect on plastics. The depth effect also increases the adhesion of Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080. The product can also be used for classic painting / bonding.
